For years, I have been drawn to interior design. Unfortunately, I was never in a position to explore that desire due to different seasons of life. For a long time, I felt that I couldn't afford to explore interior design, then I joined the military, and my focus shifted to serving. Then I got married and we started a family shortly after. Needless to say, every new season came with new reasons not to explore design.  Now, we are getting ready to close a long chapter in our lives as my husband leaves the military and we relocate from Southern California to the South. As we begin this new season, I wanted to finally pursue my interest in design, and I started this blog to capture our new chapter and how we design for the newest season of our life.
