My husband and I have been in a TV show/movie slump as of late. I noticed Sex and the City was back on Netflix and decided to put it on. At this point it's one of those shows you can put on and do other things like be on your phone. It's still entertaining and funny but I like that I don't need to be too invested in watching. As I sat there and watched I had to smile thinking of the past time I watched the show. The first time I watched Sex and City the whole way through on Netflix I had just started dating my husband. I found the show at that time to not only be hilarious but fairly relatable as a semi single 29-year-old. Fast forward 2.5 years. I was now married with a one-year-old and I just left the military, in another show slump I decided to watch Sex and the City again. The show was no longer relatable as it once was but still just as entertaining and funny. Here I am today rewatching Sex and the City for the third time 4 years after the first time I watched it. Now I'm a momma of 3 toddlers (4, 2 & 1) who is preparing for my husband to leave the military and move across the country to start the next chapter. I smile because I think of each season of life I was in each time I watched the show. Each season has been drastically different, with new challenges and obstacles. But each season has been beautiful.
Life's funny isn't it? Each season of life in the past has brought me to where I am now. Although I'm nervous for this next chapter, I'm also so excited. I'm excited to start over in a new state, in a new house and start a new hobby....design. I'm glad you have decided to join me on this journey! Here's to the seasons of life!
The seasons certainly do pass by quickly, especially the older you get. I still like changing my decor for each season! Makes things interesting!
